Hey Y’all!
Summer is upon us and so are vacations, road trips, events, and hot, sticky weather! That Self-Same Metal goes great in your beach bag or as a listen on a long drive, just sayin’! 😉 During this busy season, I wanted to check in and give you a quick update, some recommendations, as well as tell you where I’ll be this summer.
Edits are in!
Did I release my debut novel WHILE editing the follow-up, going on the road to promote the book, directing A Midsummer Night's Dream, AND appearing as Olivia in Twelfth Night at the NOLA Shakespeare Festival? YES, yes I did! I’m thrilled (and a bit exhausted!) to share that the edits for the sequel to That Self-Same Metal and Book 2 in the Forge & Fracture Saga (title coming soon!) have been sent off to my amazing editor over at Abrams Books! YAAASS!
I should have pass pages—a PDF version of the book with everything laid out for printing—by the end of July so why don’t we play the Pass Pages Game? Comment a page number and I’ll give you a non-spoiler quote from that part of the book! Let’s see what y’all get.
Once I have more news to share (like a title, cover, and release date), I’ll be back here to update you first on all the latest. There are also more exciting book secrets that I’ll make sure to give to y’all here before anyone else. Lots of things are in the works and I can’t wait to tell you all about them!
In the meantime, I hope your summer is fantastic and that I’ll see you out there whether in person or at a virtual event. Check below for where I’ll be appearing over the next couple of months as well as a few recommendations for your entertainment pleasure.
Love to you all!
